Private John W. Wittington

     John Wittington was born in 1847. He enlisted in Co C, 39th Virginia Infantry, serving the entire War. He was killed on 16 Dec 1899, by a snow slide. He was brought from Salida for burial in the Confederate section of Greenwood Cemetery.
